Subject: Another high for Phil and Friends
This band is smoking hot. Album concept is just another good idea to keep the fans interested and energized. Can't wait to see them on the East Coast next month. I also hope Phil closes his bag of friends and keeps this group for awhile.

Subject: The Worm Ouroborus
I worked for the Dead in the late 70's.Saw my first dead show in 1970,they opened with Darkstar, nothing has hit me like these shows,Phil Zone complete, freaking incredible, only regret is that they didnt do Wake of the Flood and Blues for Allah complete , too.

Subject: Does it?
Jeez, does it get any better than this? What a run. MK, Bob, Kaiser, etc., etc.. This "album concept" thing was a great idea and, again, hats off to Rosie! After spending all day researching 1960's rock posters, this is a pleasant diversion.

Subject: That's the way its supposed to happen
First thanks for putting this show up! Been jonesn' to hear this again! I'm a bit biased since I was there but this show just rolled and jammed along. Nice to hear Mama Tried followed by Railroad Blues, and all of Skul&Roses. The Other One and Minglewood Blues had some nice raw blazing guitar..Rhythm Devils with Henry Kaiser and Sikiru on talking drum was wild.

quick show story..met a guy on tuesday show who had an extra for Sat. He called me up late in the day Saturday and said he bummed his knee playing football and couldn't go, so had two tix for me. We quickly sussed he would do it with crutches, so with time-ticking Craig's list came through with a guy in SF proper who ended up meeting me at the Warfield with the crutches! The irony is my friend seats were at the top row of the balcony...crutch it up!
